There it burns all our morals~ (By Huffley12)
Hello everyone Huffley here!
Morals, scruples, sense of righteousness are high terms there to keep equilibrium in this society. We're human full of mistakes yet, we thrive on impeccability. What are morals? Why they're necessary? Who made 'em anyway? Are the questions we encounter many times while continuing our journey towards the end!
We need morals and values in order to persuade our life in accordance to what is right but what is right? And how's that we know it's right? It's confusing or not idk maybe I'm thinking too much but this is the thing I'll discuss now, about our "morals"
Well Bobby will take from here...
Let's talk bout some animes, webtoons, novels, movies and seasons I watched/read which portrayed bout the subtle eccentric nature of many characters with pretty peculiar incentives. But on my way to knowing em more, I realized the fact about how prejudged nature we hold regarding things we find out of our circle! The values we made for peace and want others to bind their lives and wander around it. "Seeking the light and letting your dark shadow die" well don't we know that stronger the light, darker the shadow there is!
So, the first one to discuss is:
1. Bastard:Ik most of you have already read it if not, lemme me put some light on it's synopsis. Basically it is story bout a high school boy who's weak and fragile due to an accident and traumatized by it. He's called with different names and one of em is "glass eye" but wait, if you're thinking he was just another boy who's a bullying victim then he's not..... "I live with a serial killer"The plot twists in the story are epic and unpredictable. Especially the end makes you question the fact where morality lies? The things we are ought to do and not!2. Hannibal:It's a season and absolutely not recommended if you canna put up with gore genre.like me sometimesNow this one is bout cannibalism yeah, the mc here enjoys his guest's livers and kidneys after stuffing em up! Savage right? Moreover he's a psychiatrist too. I'm not saying his actions were justified...they most certainly were not! But if you watch the season you'll know how his murderous nature is a result of our society negligence. How we turn our heads away over the things we find not worthy enough to ramble about and then the monster is born.3. Kaiji:Not my fav one but perfectly solidifies the phrase that "poverty is a root cause for many crimes and money is nothing but a mythical felicity"It's bout how our society worships the ones with fat bank accounts despite that they're the in charge of any dead pool going around. The story revolves around a gambler and his fight against the capitalist society. The first season is great dk bout the manga but give it a try if you like more realistic animes!
And that's all with the list. All above mentioned are quite true to our real self, they make you realize the thing how we've made standards and perfect timelines to live our lives. Sometimes doing what's right we completely ignore the "right" in it. People aren't born these ways. They change, we all do. The probabilities and possibilities of any change in spite the right or wrong notions cannot be considered useless! Rooting out the wrong is never the ans because there isn't any good without the bad. This can be considered as an absurd idea or opinion tho. I believe, the morals hold very little impact on the different schools of thought. They do somewhat rejuvenate our inner being.
Talking bout the Wars, I don't need to explain the history as you all would know the rationale behind them. But they make you ponder once a while bout their so called deliberated actions. The wrath of human vexation stumbling whatever comes beneath 'em. The steps towards the real "humanity" they said! Making food distribution programs where half of the world is suffering from hunger. But I shall not go too deep as they're controversial issues right?
There are sometimes when you don't even get the point in most of our decisions collectively or individually. (Take generally for the argument sakes) To end the sufferings with make few suffer. There are like zillion of movies I wanna suggest and write bout now but it'll just prolong this way more. The contradiction between possible right and wrong is since the advent. We'll just spiral into it more and more.
Questions:
1. What do you think bout the world's morals generally?
2. Do you agree or disagree with the terms of capitalist society? Why?
3. When do you think people lack morals?
4. Which is an act you believe is unforgivable?
P.S: I took like two months to complete this but it's still pretty rushed for me as my writing power has abandoned me ;-; so, it's ok if you find it confusing.
Huffley out!
